Meet our Founder and Owner
I grew up loving books and prefer tea over coffee, although I have spent countless hours in St Louis coffee shops and have always loved the ambiance and camaraderie of a good coffee shop. While my dream has been to open one, it's simply not in the cards at this time due to the nature of my career, which I have done for nearly 2 decades.
When the opportunity arose in summer 2026 to build my own coffee and tea shop online, I didn't hesitate. This was something I have been searching for over the years, combining what I love with giving back to the city I was born in and raised and have helped others' dreams come true since 2007. Having worked consistently and steadily in St Louis, I am often privy to the organizations in need of donations and financial assistance. I now have the ability to combine two things that are important to me: connections and community. In addition to wanting to give back in general, I was deeply inspired by someone close to me who has served our country to go deeper and find organizations that aren't as mainstream, yet continue to help people who serve our communities at a deeper level than what meets the eye.
If there's one thing I've learned in my work as a Realtor in St Louis it's that life moves in natural seasons A house isn't just brick and mortar...it's where those distinct seasons of life unfold. Whether I'm guiding a first-time buyer, helping a growing family find room to stretch out, or celebrating a major milestone, my career is rooted in one simple passion: helping people build a life and a home they love.
Why Solstice? In nature, the Solstices and Equinoxes mark key moments of transition; they are the points of maximum light, quiet reflection, and perfect balance. I've always found deep comfort in that rhythm because every season of life comes with its own unique challenges and beauties. There are seasons of bright momentum, seasons of quiet growth, times of major transition, and moments where we simply need to restore. To me, every morning begins with a choice: to rush into the noise of the day, or to take a quiet beat to ground yourself sip something warm, and set an intention. A morning cup of specialty roast or a calming evening tea isn't just a drink: it's a daily ritual that centers us through whatever season we find ourselves in so we can show up as our best selves for our families, our work, and our neighbors.
A Business with Heart (The Solstice Spotlight): Every single bag of coffee, tea, and merchandise purchased directly "pours heart" into critical resources and support back into our local St Louis community organizations. Whether I'm handing over the keys to your dream home or supplying the comforting brew that starts your morning, my goal remains the same: to support you through every season and make our community a warmer, brighter, and more supportive place for everyone who calls it home.
How it works: 100% of the proceeds from every seasonal special (Winter/Summer Solstice and Fall/Spring Equinox coffees and teas) and every bag of Founder's Favorite Radiant Sunrise Costa Rica coffee purchased, and a PORTION of all other proceeds from each purchase is donated to that season's Solstice Spotlight.
