Fall 2026 Solstice Spotlight

We grew up with animals, having adopted them and loving them all of their lives.  For those of you who may not know, my dog Luna was rescued and adopted in 2005 until she passed away in 2018.  This very first Solstice Spotlight is dedicated to her.  She loved people, cats, and car rides to Treats Unleashed and riding around STL with me for work. I still miss her every day and there will never be another like her.  

This Solstice Spotlight is on Open Door Animal Sanctuary, the largest no-kill shelter in the St Louis area.  I chose this one because not only are they located deep in Jefferson County but I know so many people who have adopted furry friends from this organization.
