When the winter cold sets in and the days reach their shortest, we look to the sky for a sudden burst of warmth and energy.  Solar Flare Azul is our liquid answer to the frost: a bold, medium-dark roast inspired by the brilliant, high-energy eruptions that dance across the surface of the sun.  This exceptional coffee is proudly grown by dedicated smallholder grower members dedicated to quality and sustainability in the Cerro Azul region of Honduras, where the beans thrive in lush volcanic soils and cool mountain climates.  The steady rainfall and slow maturation process allow the coffee cherries to develop deep, layered sweetness and a perfectly balanced acidity.
